Teddy Bear Bag

Wonderful design by the spanish Rodrigo Alonso and great news for sleepwalkers in chilly regions. This teddy bear sleeping bag, or selk’bag means you can move around easily outside your tent when its too cold outside. I’d probably never want to get out of it!

Gonads the size of Wales

Last weekend we took a wee trip to Rossili Beach, Llangennith in South Wales. Me, nico and our lovely chaufeur, Mr David Marks drove out there on friday evening and camped two nights.

It was beautiful, this large beach streaching down the coast, the wind making balleriners of the sand. Saturday we took a walk down the beach and up the highest sand dune, now sired “The Dune of David”. Then for a walk up the nearby hill down into the neighbouring town, Rossili.

Something amongst all this beauty was not right and it really angered me how destructive humans are, how they need to leave their mark everywhere, in this case, in the form of litter. We humans are, as a race, really rather gruesome. They call pigs dirty, but thats only because humans keep them in such dirty conditions. We are the true dirty race and it seems like we find comfort in our own rubbish. (Yes I am an old grandma in a 25 year olds skin).

We camped next to this beautiful old VW van, done up by a couple from Devon. Even though the VW van has a max speed of 50, it far faster than a canal boat, and can travel over more versitile terrain. Yes, I have a major weakness for them. Some people want a ferrari, I want a VW van.
